Tracey Marshall was 3 time All-Conference and All-Area; All-State, DGS MVP and Co-Captain her senior year. She earned three varsity letters in Volleyball at DGS. She was the GATORADE STATE PLAYER of the YEAR her senior year. She was also named the DAILY HERALD and the CHICAGO TRIBUNE PLAYER of the YEAR. She played on 3 MUSTANG STATE TOURNAMENT teams. (State Runner-Up in '03 and '04, Third Place in '05). Tracey also played two years for the United States Junior Olympic team before entering college.

Tracey was a scholarship athlete at the Univ. of Illinois following her career at D.G.S. She was a four year starter for the ILLINI and set the school record for most digs for a career with 1,426. She holds the school record for the most digs during a single season (465). She was honored by being selected ALL-BIG TEN as an outside hitter while at the University of Illinois. Her degree from U. of I. is in Speech Communications.

Tracey played two years professionally with the United States Professional Volleyball League. She played for the St. Louis Quest in 2002, the inaugural season for the league, as an outside hitter. She signed professionally as a free agent. The next year she played for the Minnesota Chill prior to the league closing.
